I live and work in Cornwall where I am surrounded by coastline, so it was inevitable that I would end up taking my hobby of photography to the coast. I practice long exposure night photography using analogue 35mm cameras and have more recently taken to the sea with a mixture of housed digital cameras and Nikonos 35mm cameras. Most of my portfolio can be found on my Instagram page, but I have a small selection of favourites below. Thanks for looking!
A choppy morning swim around the cliffs between St Agnes Head and Chapel Porth Beach.
A double exposure shot direct onto 35mm XPro Chrome film.
A swim with the camera one morning on the north coast of Cornwall. Lots of longboards to dodge and plenty of light.
A silhouetted surfer as the suns goes down at Praa Sands Beach.
Silhouette of a paddle boarder on a cold winter morning.
Even when there is a lull between waves there is still photo opportunities. Really love taking shots of the sea doing its thing.
A swim amongst the waves on the south coast of Cornwall, it really lit up this week, amzing light and amazing waves.
Snapped this surfer at Gwithian randomly while trying to capture a sunset over the sea. Didn't really think much of the image at the time but it turned out to be the best image of the evening.
